
In the first step, we are going to cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, if using. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
In the second step, we’ll heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
In the third step, we are going to add garlic in the skillet and will sauté it for 1 minute or until it gets fragrant.
In the fourth step, we’ll stir in shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, then cook it for 1-2 minutes per side until it gets pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
In the fifth step, we’ll pour in white wine and lemon juice then simmer it for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
In the sixth step, we’ll return the shrimp to the skillet, toss in the remaining butter and parsley then we’ll mix it until the shrimp are coated well.
At the end, we serve up the fresh shrimp scampi. We put it over pasta, rice, or with that nice crusty bread which is a great way to enjoy it.
